The limestone flooring in this shopping centre had become very slippery over time and several accidents had occurred.
Despite trying many other company’s solutions, none of them could resolve their issues.
We treated over 1000 M2 of the floors when the centre was closed at night to minimise any disruption and the slip resistance readings went from high risk before treatment in the wet, down to low risk after.
Pendulum testing confirmed that the slip resistance had increased from 19 to 42 PTV in the wet without changing the appearance of the floor.
