JSE Contract Services Ltd have been contracted to work on our site, Afton Chemical Ltd, Ashburton Road West, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1SX, on 2 occasions in the last 18 months.
We had a requirement for a deep clean chemical wash on our blending mezzanine deck area, which is steel checker plate construction.
JSE Contract Services provided us with recommendations, scope of work, method statements and risk assessments in line with our HSES requirements.
We then contracted them to complete the deep clean chemical wash, which was very effective, leaving us with a working surface free from all historical chemical stains and spills, improving the work environment and bringing the area back to a high standard.
Down time was minimal and the operation was conducted around our normal operating day with little disruption to our production process.
Overall we were very pleased with the service provided by JSE.

Afton Chemicals
We approached safety treatments initially as we were having problems with a tiled floor in one of our sports centres.
They came out and advised us of the correct treatment to be used on the floor to prevent it becoming so slippery when wet, from that point onwards, we continued to build our relationship with the company and Kevin O’Brien.
We worked on heavy duty grime and grease removal, tyre bonded skid marks using a seaweed solution, the treatment of moss on one of our external high level roof areas as well as tile restoration in showers.
I have always found Kevin and his team to be more than willing to tackle anything we have taken to them and this has been done with a very professional and safe approach.

We use JSE Contract Services for all of our slip testing. The major restaurant chains we supply with our tiles have strict criteria when it comes to slip testing and JSE Contract Services provide a fast, efficient testing service.
We have also used JSE for advice when there have been problems with the slip resistance of an existing floor and where necessary JSE have applied a treatment to the tiles so that the floor meets the health and safety requirements. This work was done with minimal disruption and downtime for the client.
