Airports are among the busiest environments in the world and the majority of the flooring used is tiled flooring, which when used in main entrances can become dangerously slippery when wet.

JSE Contract Services have completed several contracts at airports where slips had become a serious issue, we carried out slip tests and advised on the best solution for the area in question.

One area had a design fault that led to condensation building up in glazed walkways which fell on to the ramped floors causing a serious slip injury.

They didn’t want to replace the tiles due to disruption and cost but also wanted to keep the appearance of the existing surface.

So we installed our unique invisible anti slip system which instantly stopped the surface being slippery.
